Turkish Airlines was established on May 22 1933 as state airlines administration as a department of of the ministry of national defense ,three year later in 1938,it became part of ministry of transportation.Turkish airlines is the national flag carrier of turkey ,headquartered at Turkish Airlines general management building of Ataturk International airport Istanbul and has been a member of star alliance network since  1st April 2008.
